![]() ![]() It's just new corporate management deciding where to make budget cuts to accumulate more money. I live in Oregon, so have been able to eat a lot of Tillamook throughout my life and I 100% agree the quality has gone down. Plus interest rate increases by the fed hurt the poorest and middle class the absolute worst. (Magnum non-dairy ice cream bars (I don't know about dairy ones, but I'm guessing they are similar issues) did the same thing, under the guise of a "redesign", the ice cream bars and such are way smaller and taste like plastic compared to how great they used to be - it's criminal) It's all fake, it's excuses to make more profit - that's called capitalism - and the people suffer and pay for it. It's happening everywhere, shrinkflation (using smaller size containers and acting like they are the same for same price), skimpflation (using cheaper ingredients that aren't as good tasting (like chemicals instead of actual real ingredients), etc), and of course inflation itself where they charge way more for the same thing (or smaller and or cheaper ingredients).Īll together companies are making windfall profits and blaming consumers for cost increases or blaming nonexistent "supply chain" issues, or blaming China or whatever.
